William Butler Yates and his relevance today

apocalypse William Butler Yates Yates

i saw this article in the Wall Street Journal today on the poem by William Butler Yeats and his word rang so true today I couldn't beleive it

Without further ado I attach the first section of the poem

Turning and turning in the widening gyre
The falcon cannot hear the falconer
Things fall apart and the center cannot hold
Mere anarchy is loosed upon the world
The blood dimmed tide is loosed and everywhere
The ceremony of innocence is drowned
The best lack all conviction
While the worst
Are full of passionate intensity

William butler Yates 1919

As seen in today's review in the wsj  July 25th, 2015
